On March 6, 2023, at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris, as part of the information meeting on UNESCO’s participation in the UN Water Conference (March 22-24, 2023, New York), a briefing was held by the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tajikistan to UNESCO Mr.Jamoliddin Ubaidullo in preparation for the upcoming conference.

During his speech, the Permanent Representative of Tajikistan informed about the international initiatives of Tajikistan on water issues and the arrangements for the UN Water Conference co-chaired by the Republic of Tajikistan and the Kingdom of the Netherlands, as well as about the importance of this event for the international community. Mr. Ubaidullo urged the meeting participants to make a greater contribution and actively participate in the conference and the implementation of its results.

It should be noted that more than 200 representatives of countries and organizations of the world took part in this meeting in offline and online formats.
