Anticipated season of International Karate to begin in Athens

The 2023 Karate 1-Series A Athens inaugurates the anticipated year of international Karate competitions. The event is scheduled for January 13 to 15.

Over 1110 athletes from 73 countries have registered to participate in the opening event of the year. The 2023 Karate 1-Series A Athens is set to be one of the most massive events of its kind and a testament to the growing popularity of the sport.

Held at the magnificent Ano Liosia Olympic Hall, the Karate 1-Series A Athens aims at catching the attention of fans as karatekas participate in the tournament hoping to win the points to improve their position on the WKF World Ranking.

The competition will start on Friday, January 13 at 9:00 local time (GMT +2) with the finals scheduled for Sunday January 15. The final bouts will be available LIVE on the WKF YouTube channel.
